Murphy's Pharmacies locations across PEI (they all have hearing aid donation boxes in store to make it as convenient as possible to donate hearing aids!)
There are many ways to get involved. They are:
1. Donate hearing aids. The more hearing aids that we can get donated, the more people we can help. Perhaps you have unused hearing aids in your home that you would like to put to good use. Or, maybe you have a health insurance plan that allows you to get new hearing aids every 3 to 5 years. Hear, Hear PEI provides a wonderful incentive to get those new ones! You could donate your old ones (that are still relatively new) to help someone else while getting a brand new pair for yourself! It is a win-win situation!
2. If you are a hearing healthcare professional. you could talk to us about serving clients in our program or you could encourage your clients to donate their used hearing aids to Hear, Hear PEI when they get new ones.
3. If you work with seniors, please let them know about our program. Some of them may have hearing aids to donate while others may need to apply for our refurbished hearing aids. Please spread the word!
